The new release is Zea - Ethiopia Tour 2008 audio-cassette (dream 39).
An in Ethiopia manufactured compilation 60 minutes audio-cassette comprising a selection of songs from the Zea albums "Today I Forgot To Complain" and "Insert Parallel Universe" with as a bonus track "Song For Electricity", a Zea song based on the Ethiopian song "Bogiye" by Abonesh Adenew.
Few copies available in the shop.

Zea (with Remko returning for this special trip) will be doing five gigs in Ethiopia between May 13 - 23, including a performance at the 7th edition of the "Ethiopian Music Festival" in the Alizé Club in Addis Abeba. For dates see gig-guide.
To celebrate this, an Ethiopia-manufactured cassette "Ethiopia Tour 2008" will be released on Transformed Dreams (dream 39). The cassette consists of a compilation of the Zea albums "Today I Forgot To Complain" and "Insert Parallel Universe" plus as a bonus track the new song "Song For Electricity", based on the Abonesh Adenew song "Bogiye".
The bonus track will also be available as free download from the Zea-website, together with a Zea remix of the Wallias Band song "Muziqawi Silt".

The session The Bent Moustache recorded live for the XFM John Kennedy program X-posure will be broadcast Thursday, February 21 between 22:00-01:00h (UK time).

The session Persil specially recorded for Peter Nelson's programme on Womb Radio now also broadcast in his February-programme for Dandelion Radio.

A new Persil-session will be broadcast in Peter Nelson's monthly podcast for WombRadio on Tuesday, January 15 and will stay online there after.

The February-tour in Russia will be keyboardplayer Remko's last gigs with Zea. In Holland his last gig with Zea is on January 18 at OCCII, Amsterdam.

Zea re-arranged four of their own songs, wrote two new ones and two (semi-) covers of Moondog and Ali Hassan Kuban to play with the 28-piece brass band Soli Brass.

They perform at Freeze-festival on September 22 in Leeuwarden, Holland.

Saturday April 21 The Bent Moustache will be back from their US-tour in the Netherlands for the release-party of their debut album "Forst".

Because of their successful tour in the USA and Canada as support to Sebadoh, The Bent Moustache cd "Forst" will be available in shops in the USA from March 26, from Midheaven Mailorder and from worldwide downloadshops.

The live-sessions Persil and Zea recorded October 4, 2006 at the Maida Vale studio’s in London, will be broadcast in Huw Stephens' BBC Radio One programme, Wednesday January 17 at midnight (UK-time).

The programme will stay online for seven days.

On podcast it will be available from Friday, January 19.

Before she will play a full set at our monthly label night, Lianne Hall will play four songs live on Dutch Radio 5 in the programme “Desmet Live”, Monday, January 15 between 18:00 – 20:00 (Dutch time).

dream 37 is the new release and it’s called “Ammehoelahop”.
It’s a compilation LP (vinyl only) and consists of tracks of the bands that also play our “Hit The North” – festival. The record will be presented during the festival and is available in Holland from October 30. Release date for the UK is December 4.

The Suicidal Birds, Persil, Zea and Transformed Dreams together are organizing a festival called “Hit The North”.
On October 28 on two stages at venue “Poppodium Romein” in the city of Leeuwarden in the north of Holland the bands that will play are: Two Dogs, Malorix, Persil, Zea, The Suicidal Birds (all Dutch), Chips For The Poor, Look Look (dancing boys), Das Wanderlust, The Lovely Eggs and Le Tetsuo (all British).

Persil's second album called "Comfort Noise" will be released in The Netherlands on May 15, in the UK on June 19.
"Comfort Noise" consists of twelve very summery songs for sunny days and long lush evenings.

Five years after their well received "Les Aumonts" album, Zoppo's fourth full-length "Don't Trust Scarred Survivors" (dream 35/tdm 12) will be released on March 13.
For the UK the release date is set on April 17.
The album will be available as CD and Gatefold-LP.
The festive release party will be held at Overtoom 301 in Amsterdam, Friday March 10.

The song “Happy” from Persil’s “Tune-Up” CD-EP got another spinning on BBC Radio 1. This time on Rob Da Bank’s “One Music” programme.

Our next release is a 7”-single (dream 34) by a band called Space Siren. They are guitar player Corno Zwetsloot and drummer Ineke Duivenvoorde, core-members of defunct Dutch band Seesaw (who released two albums on Transformed Dreams).
