Provincial daily paper Brabants Dagblad about his gig in W2-Den Bosch 03/02/01: "The artistically-minded Englishman Dan Geesin accompanies his sober, naive and at times absurdistic animated short films almost slightly humoresque with vocals and organ. His neat voice is a treat for the ears and Geesin changes his organ-playing smoothly between folk and soul."

French-speaking Belgian paper Mofo: 'In the office we've played this record without saying a word, after which almost everybody wanted to know everything about it. Geesin matches easily Nico (from the seventies), Jona Lewie (from a few years later) and the atmosphere Robert Wyatt has created in thirty years'.

Belgian paper Rif Raf: 'There's only one regret: In 'Twee eenden' Geesin sings in Dutch and he makes that language sound very nice and very beautiful.'
